The Boardgame

Who got to this page probably already knows the famous fantasy game Heroquest. Famous because it was not only sold in the specific Fantastic Shops but also in usual Toys and Games Shops. And it possibly catched the eye of some later Roleplaying Gamers whose affection to the fantasy genre was just triggered by this game. And nowadays there are alot of those...
Later the successor game "Advanced Heroquest" was issued. However, I am not so pleased by this game as the rules are more complicated and the quests are constructed by a random principle. Thus you don`t know how far you really proceeded in the dungeon. Besides I prefer the "slashmashine mentality": One Hit, one Monster (or even not, ouuch!) :)

Own Quests

Formerly I enthusiastically wrote more and more quests for Heroquest. Alltogether two books were created with at least ten quests each. The quests were supposed to challenge battle-experienced heroes who already succeeded the main quests, Kellar`s Keep and Return of the Witch Lord. The new quests contained the equipment of these expansion sets. To make the new quests more interesting for the heroes I created new weapons und new artifacts which could be found in the quests. I just started to put the quests in an appropriate shape and enclose them in a book. On the right you see a sample quest from the first book. The link will reveal more about this book, The Book of Evil and its Hidings.
